A note for past clients, future clients, or anyone trying to find me.

I’m not seeing clients right now —
I’ll be back in early fall 2026

Where I am

I'm Sarah Buscho. I recently completed my graduate training in counseling psychology at the Wright Institute. I'm in the in-between stretch, finished with my traineeship and preparing to register with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I'm obtaining EMDR training too.

I expect to be back to clinical work in fall, 2026.

What's ahead

Once registered, I'll be offering thoughtful, practical therapy for individuals, children, couples, and families. The work will draw on psychodynamic and solution-focused approaches. We'll make sense of where patterns come from, and the ways your nervous system has learned to keep you safe. Insight is useful when it leads somewhere, and change tends to "stick" when the pattern is understood.

Planned offerings:

  • Therapy for adults experiencing a wide range of mental health issues like anxiety, depression, relationship patterns, life transitions, and the impact of difficult experiences
  • Couples therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Therapy for children and teens

Sessions will be available in person and via telehealth throughout California. I'll offer a sliding scale, and I'll be out-of-network with insurance offering superbills for reimbursement.

If we worked together before

If we were in therapy together and you'd like to know when I'm open again, the form below is the right place to reach me. During this window I am not providing psychotherapy, but I'll send a note when I'm able to take clients.

LET’S WORK TOGETHER
